This was fun! My wife and I aren’t beer drinkers, so what are we doing here in a brewery? I think I’m addicted to stainless steel. Lots of stainless steel in a brewery or a winery or in a restaurant kitchen (where I spent 25 years)! Stainless steel equipment is the way to go if you’re looking for sanitation. Stainless steel is easy to clean and keep sanitary, but do you know what metal is actually self sanitizing? Copper! That’s why doorknobs used to be made of brass which is an alloy of mostly copper and zinc. Its very hard for viruses or bacteria to grow on anything with copper in it. If it wasn’t for the cost and softness of copper compared to stainless steel, we’d see a lot more copper kitchens around, that’s for sure!

They actually have a lot of alternatives to beer if beer is not your thing. There’s wine, hard ciders, soda and whatever the drinks that the food trucks offer. We also got a can of bubble tea. The food trucks that were at the brewery that day were a Meatball Truck and a truck selling Asian food. We got some spring rolls and meatball sandwiches. Good stuff! Here’s a link to their website!

I had a Patriot’s Blood ale and it was good. Pretty smooth. They had lots of TVs. Golf was on. Its close. Right down 80 towards the Alva post office, just a little past that intersection. Nice drive. Less hectic. There was a dog rescue there from Naples. It was fun watching the puppies audition for adoption!
