Buddha-Bachi Express Hibachi Grill – Cape Coral

This was one of my favorite food trucks that hung out at Babcock Ranch and other places around town. I say was because they’ve put the food truck in moth balls and have opened a brick-and-mortar restaurant in Cape Coral. So, we decided to check it out. It was a good drive down Pine Island Road to Santa Barbara Blvd, but it was a beautiful day, and the traffic was good until we hit a spot where an accident was being cleared up. When we were going south down Santa Barbara Blvd our GPS guide told us to do a left turn on the street before the strip mall they are in and we entered the strip mall through the back entrance where the delivery trucks go. This is because there’s a big median on Santa Barbara and you can’t turn directly into the mall parking lot. A minor problem, but if I was a business in this mall, I sure wish there would be a direct entrance!

We got our usual order which was fried dumplings ($5), a steak and shrimp hibachi bowl with fried rice and vegetables ($21) and a mocha bubble tea with tapioca pearls ($7). So that adds up to $33 before tax and tip. My wife and I shared everything, so it was enough for two old people. 🙂 The place looked nice. Service was quick. And the food was as delicious as always.
