Wow! That’s a one word description of how much we all liked this place! We liked it so much when we were done we all bought gift cards to use when we come back. So my wife and I bought a gift card of $100 and we got a $50 gift card free. The other couple bought a $200 gift card and got a $100 gift card free. If you buy a $1000 gift card, they will give you a $1000 gift card free! Needless to say, we are going to talk to other friends to see if we can pool together $1000 to get that $1000 free gift card. That’s a pretty good return on your money! The food was great. The drinks were great. and the service was great. The next time we go back we’ll all be getting the 2lb whole lobster (it comes split in half) for just $39.95. Sorry, I didn’t get a picture of that one, but I got pics of everything we had. Here we go!
Drinks
We all got drinks off their specialty drink menu. They all cost around $13 to $17. The ladies got the Pistachio Martini. I got a rum based martini and the other gentleman got their special Old Fashioned. The drinks were delicious.

Appetizer
Every time we go to a seafood place it seems like I always order the Calamari. So I ordered one! It was good. Oh, and we got some complimentary bread with what seemed like a honey butter. Or was the honey on the bread? Anyway, it was tasty. And I’ll also show you the pic of the gift card offer.

Salads
If you’re ordering an entree you can get a smaller sized dinner salad for, I think, it was $7. My wife ordered a regular salad, which was quite large, and an appetizer of crab cakes for her entree. The salads were all good. I had some of my wife’s salad and I wish there was another container of dressing. But it worked out because I didn’t want to get filled up with salad anyway. We did end up taking a lot of it home.

Entrees
The two guys got the Mediterranean Shrimp with Risotto. My wife got the Crab Cake appetizer as an entree and Susan got the Pasta with Vodka Sauce and grilled chicken. That was a lot of pasta. The Shrimp dish was absolutely delicious. My wife’s Crab Cakes were outstanding. The pasta dish was rich, and Susan held back from eating too much. The chicken was thigh meat instead of breast meat and it was charred pretty good. So, it was kind of dried out. She took it home, as we all did with our respective entrees, to eat the next day. I just had a little risotto left, but my wife loves risotto, so we took that home too. So we all saved room for dessert!

Dessert
This is where it get kind of interesting. Our server said there were no dessert menus, so she recited them from memory. The first was a deep fried Oreo cookie. That’s something I think you get at a carnival. So that was a no go. There was also some kind of doughnut stuffed with maybe creme brulee. My mind switched off when I heard doughnut, so I don’t know what the filling was, but if I want a creme filled doughnut, I’ll go to Dunkin. Sorry about that, but none of us wanted a doughnut for dessert either. So that leaves us with two more dessert choices. There was the mandatory Key Lime Pie, which we all took a pass on. Ya kind of get tired of key lime pie, don’t ya? So that leaves us our last choice, which we both ordered. It was The Chocolate Chip Cake with Chocolate Ganache. Now in my head I’m picturing a dark chocolate cake studded with chocolate chips and a dark chocolate ganache coating the entire slice. It turned out to be a light colored cake with chocolate chips throughout the cake, a white chocolate ganache with dark chocolate chips pressed into the outer edge of the cake. So no dark chocolate indulgence! We could have forgiven all that, but the cake was ice cold. So, we missed indulging in the dark chocolaty goodness. In my restaurants we always put the cake slices in the micro for 10 seconds just to take the edge off. It would have loosened up the cake a little bit and bring out the chocolate magic. Wow, I sure talked a lot about the dessert, didn’t I?! It’s a nice looking place too!

So we had a couple bites of our cakes and took the rest home. We will microwave for 10 seconds when we’re ready to eat! So all in all a great meal! The drive down there was pretty good. Saturday night, not much traffic. It rained like heck when we got back to Alva. You could barely see the intersection at Buckingham Road and 80, but it was just a drizzle when we got into the community! Here’s a link to their website. I highly recommend it. We will be searching around for some other couples to get that $1000 gift card and get a $1000 return on investment! That’s a great deal! P.s. They also have a murder mystery dinner coming up. Three course dinner specials on certain nights. And don’t forget the whole 2lb lobsters for $39.95.
