We have friends who really love sushi. I’ve dabbled with some sushi and find it interesting. I heard about this place while scrolling on Instagram. I sent the ad for the restaurant to my friends and they replied back “Yes please! When!” So we made plans and gave it a try. There was some confusion as to which Oumi restaurant I was looking at online. Apparently, there’s another one in Texas that’s an all you can eat. So I thought we were going to an all you can eat place, but it turns out we were not! Its a regular menu and everything has its own individual price.

A couple of weeks ago I reviewed the fast food place called Buddha-Bachi Express which features hibachi bowls of food. Oumi has hibachi bowls for similar or lower prices and they include soup AND salad! What’s up with that! We didn’t order any hibachi bowls, but everything we did order was fantastic! Here’s a piece of the menu to show you some prices.

So my wife doesn’t like the idea of eating raw fish. So she ordered the pot stickers, rock bang bang shrimp and Shrimp Tempura as her meal. The other couple ordered Edamame as an appetizer and a boatload of other rolls and sushi. I ordered a Oumi roll which has lobster, shrimp and a whole bunch of other stuff. Everything was fantastic!

As you can see, we did literally get a boat load of food!

They also put in some dry ice to make some smoke. Very impressive. Mouth was watering.

So if sushi is your thing, check it out. They have cooked food too, so check it out. When we went there were no hibachi tables for table side cooking, but I think they are going to add some. If that’s your thing and want entertainment, call first. Its kind of a cool looking place. Their website seems to be an online order taking app, but you can check out there pics on instagram. They are on or near College Parkway near 41. 8595 College Pkwy #165, Fort Myers, FL 33919 is the exact address. Check them out! Also, when we went there they did have their hard liquor available, just wine. I had water! Phone first! (239) 208-2500
