Restaurant Review – Jordan’s Wine Bar
Jordan’s is located on McGregor Blvd at 12901 McGregor Blvd, Unit 14, Fort Myers, FL, United States, Florida to be exact. Its in a shopping center, but I can’t remember the name of the shopping center at the moment. Here’s the link to their Facebook Page (they don’t appear to have a website). We went there with two other couples on a Tuesday night and it wasn’t crowded at all. That’s OK, but it kind of makes you think, is there something wrong? There’s nothing wrong at all! The wines were great and so was the food! The food is meant to be like tapas and sharable. Although we did have to cut up the sandwich and the empanadas to share. There were cheese boards and meat boards, empanadas, a Cuban sandwich and a chorizo sandwich and a shrimp cocktail that was wildly different from any shrimp cocktails I’ve had before. It was creamy with pineapple and apples and tomatoes in it. The special of the night was a charcuterie board with a variety of different cheeses on it, cheese stuffed in figs and dates, drizzles of honey and jam. Lots of different taste sensations going on. Someone else ordered a Serrano Ham platter. Tasty! For dessert we ordered Chocolate Profiteroles. We shared, we talked, we laughed a lot and we ate everything and all the wines were good. They have an extensive wine list. If you like wine, you should check this place out! They also have live music on some nights. You should get on their mailing list for special wine tasting events. Those look like a hoot!
