Restaurant Review – Beacon Social Drinkery Rooftop Bar
My wife and I went to downtown Ft. Myers for one of the food truck and live music festivals they have in Centennial Park. Its was a cold and windy day so we left a little early and decided to have some appetizers and a few drinks at a rooftop bar in the new Luminary Hotel. At 12 floors up the Beacon Social Drinkery Rooftop Bar has quite the view! We checked out the open air part and guess what? We thought it was cold and windy at street level, it was incredibly cold and windy 12 stories up! So back inside we go and we had some delicious apps and a couple of good drinks.
We had one of their signature dishes at the festival, the Wagyu Sliders with truffle mushrooms and garlic aioli. It was a little on the dry side at the festival, but was fabulous at the bar! Most delicious! We also had the Potstickers with pork, scallion, ginger, red chili dipping sauce. We thought they’d be steamed, but they were deep fried. They were good. We had a couple of drinks off their specialty menu. I had the Edison’s Fashioned and my wife had the Mr. Dean’s Martini with espresso vodka and Coffee Liqueur Irish Cream. Tasty! Check out their online menu!
