Axe Throwing and a Food Truck!

I was up for some axe throwing, so I went and checked out this new event at the Amenity Center. I did pretty good (after some coaching by the vendor!). Other people were doing ok. The teenagers did excellent. Watch out mom and dad!

The food truck was FireBread and I couldn’t have enjoyed the Bratwurst more. They make the bread right there and should patent the method. From what I saw they dip a hot metal rod into the bread batter, then bake it with some fire thrown in. After its baked, they slide the bun off the rod, so the bread has a hole all the way though it for whatever meat your sandwich calls for. The bread was tasty, so was the brat and the sauce and accompaniments were fantastic.

There was also a Cookie dough truck there. My wife and I shared a Root Beer Float. Perfect!

So, good event overall!
