I’ve tried a lot of food trucks and this one is my favorite! Why is that, you might ask? What are the criteria for me to judge how good a food truck is?

How good is the food? 10
Cleanliness? 10
Are the people working the truck happy and engaging? 10
Do you have to wait in long lines to order No, so that’s a 10
Do you have to wait a long time for the food you ordered? No, so that’s another 10
Does the food look good to begin with? 10
Do you get your money’s worth? 10
Good looking truck? 10

So I gave them all 10s and here’s why. The truck is good looking with great graphics and wordage. You know what they’re all about. Something Asian is going on in there. So you walk up and get close and you see the hustle and bustle of the workers inside. Everything looks like its going smoothly and they all seem to be in a good mood. They must like what they’re doing! Its a tough job cooking in a food truck. I’ve never done it, but I’ve worked in some pretty hot, busy kitchens in my life and it can get very stressful. And on top of that its open, so all your customers can see what’s going on. They look like they are actually enjoying themselves! Food tastes a whole lot better when the people making it are in a good mood!

Which leads me to how good the food is? Its great! When you open the lid on those dinner bowls it looks beautiful! We got the shrimp dinner bowl. All the shrimp were on top of the stir fried rice and look nice. I’m thinking we got around 10 shrimp for $14. Good value if you ask me. They also let you add more protein if you want. The extra shrimp would cost $7 more, but since I split this with my wife that means we would have had a very filling meal for $10.50 each. Not bad! we also had some fried dumplings which were good. Lots of filling, nice sauce. We went back and got two more orders of those! Sorry I didn’t take a pic. It was raining and we just hunched over and gobbled them up before remembering to take a pic!

While standing in the rain waiting for the food I talked to another guy who said this was his favorite food truck too. So its not just me! Check them out!
