Brisket

I’m not talking cigarettes. I’m talking food! The Hampton Lakes party people who are interested in smoking food in their backyard smokers are getting together to sample some smoked food and share tips and tricks! This first party is filled up, so be sure to check out the Hampton Lakes Social page for the next one.

I was really interested in this one because I’ve smoked a lot of food at my restaurant and in my backyard. I had a big Traeger Smoker at my restaurant with a cold smoker attachment and a smaller Traeger at home. I’ve smoked the traditional foods like brisket, pork belly and chickens, but a lot of other food too. Here’s a list from the top of my head, meatloaves, breakfast sausage rolled in coffee grounds, shrimp, lobsters, oysters, ducks, prime rib, duck breasts, vegetables for ratatouille, hot and cold smoked salmon, salmon heads, trout, cold smoked cheeses, pizzas, sausages and, of course, the Thanksgiving turkey!
