Restaurant Review – Rum Bucket Update

I went back to the Rum Bucket with my wife and another couple to try the all you can eat Fish and Chips on Thursdays. At $18.95 it was a pretty good deal. I was kind of full after eating the initial order, but I pushed myself to ask for more because I wanted to see now much you’d get. Two more pieces of fish and I ate those too! So I left stuffed! No room for dessert! If you get a hankering for a shrimp basket, they have all you can eat shrimp on Wednesdays. And if you get a hankering for Fish and Chips, I highly recommend the Rum Bucket on Thursdays for the all you can eat Fish and Chips special. You can get cole slaw if you don’t want fries, but their fries are really tasty!

If you find yourself going to the Rum Bucket on other days, the burgers are real good and they have those all the time! My wife ordered the Coconut Shrimp appetizer and a salad for lucnh. she enjoyed the Coconut Shrimp, but thought the average salad for $6 was over priced. But what isn’t overpriced nowadays?! But overall it was good. Its close to home, so I would say check it out.

I’ve never had a Bucket of Rum at the Rum Bucket or any of the other drinks. I’m not into drinking myself to oblivion (anymore). So I don’t know if the drinks are any good. Anybody want to comment on that? Are the drinks tasty?
