Restaurant Review – ODA Pizzeria Bistro, Cape Coral

OK, its been a while since I wrote a review, so its a good thing its a rainy day to clear up the backlog! My wife and I went to this pace a while ago with 2 other couples. Its a long ways down Bayshore Drive and Pine Island Road, so its not a place for a quick pizza pickup or delivery. But it is a good place to go to and meet some people there and have some delicious pizzas! The staff was friendly, we met the owners and we just had a great all around time. I highly recommend it!

I think its been about two months since we ate there, so I don’t remember exactly what we ate, but it was all good! We will be going back. Each couple ordered at least one pizza. One couple ordered two. That was a lot of pizza. We all had some leftover to take back home. The outstanding ones were the Michelangelo with the pepperoni cups and the Mushroom Truffle. My wife and I also ordered a salad and a chorizo sausage and shrimp appetizer. The salad was good, but my appetizer was a little bland. I took care of that by putting some of their house made hot sauce on it and then everything was all good! For dessert my wife and I ordered Baklava. Sugar, sugar, sugar! But that’s the way its suppose to be! They should of heated it up a little more in the microwave because it was kind of on the cold side making it a little chewy. But the flavor was great. Looking at the pictures, I see a big ball of cotton candy in a glass. I remember, we all ripped off a piece and enjoyed it!

We were there shortly after they opened and we were given a short list menu, so it wasn’t their full menu. Hopefully by now they are into their full menu which you can check out by clicking here. There’s items like Paella, Lamb Shanks, Steaks and some veal dishes. They also have a variety of pastas, Shrimp Scampi, Chicken Parm and a lot more. Espressos and Cappuccinos are also available. So its a lot more than just a pizza place, its a Bistro! Check them out. I think you’ll enjoy!
