Eat, Drink and Sing Along at Luminary Hotel in Downtown Ft Myers

Just recently my wife and I and a friend checked out the early bird special at The Silver King Ocean Brasserie located on the first floor. They have a 3 course meal for $39 per person. The first course is a salad or Conch Beignet. We all opted for the salad, so I can’t say anything about the beignet. The salad was excellent, but it had pomegranate seeds in it which to me is annoying. The entrees are Wild Salmon, which was excellent! My wife had that. I, along with our friend, had the Beef Fillet and it was excellent, done just the way we wanted it cooked! Nice size too. Must have been around 6 ounces and that’s pretty good for being included in a 3 course meal for $39. The risotto was good too as was the mashed potatoes my wife had with her salmon. There is a chicken special to round things out. We all had the Espresso Creme Brulee for dessert and that was tasty! The other dessert option was sorbet. So all in all, very good dinner!

We went on Wednesday night which also happens to be when there’s a Frank Sinatra Tribute Singer in the bar. The show is free! His name is Michael Dutra and he’s very good! I had an Old Fashioned while listening to Frank’s biggest hits! A fun evening. Highly recommend the Luminary. Check out “Frank” below!
